I know I have probably posted about this before, along with a zillion other people, but Japan is freaking crazy. I was originally going to blog about weird German things except I really couldn’t find enough to fill up an entire blog post so I had to result to searching for weird Japanese things which brought up millions of hits.
Here are some of the best I found:
It is a full body sleeping bag that you can walk in. My main question is: How do you get in or out of that thing? Plus it has no arms. Also wouldn’t you want your feet covered when you’re in a sleeping bag so they don’t get cold. This whole thing doesn’t make sense.
French Maid lap pillows. It is a pillow made to look like the lap of a woman in a slutty french maid outfit. Except it looks like a double amputee that was cut in half, which is just disturbing. Although I am pretty sure there are people out there who are into that shit.
Thong Jeans, I really don’t understand these. The top of the jeans look like underwear but then they are just like regular jeans from the hips down. Those just look uncomfortable and the only skin that is showing is pretty unflattering on most people. Plus you like couldn’t even wear underwear underneath it, and if you have ever gone commando in jeans, you know how uncomfortable that is.
This is some kind of phone charger which is either supposed to look like intestines or an umbilical cord. I always wondered what it would look like if I shoved my phone up my butt and then had a 3d model of what it would like like en-lodged in my large intestine, oh wait, no I haven’t.
Solar Powered Underwear, lingerie with built in solar panels that can charge your cell phone. Not sure how well the solar panels work when you have clothes on over top of them, unless you just wear your underwear out in public. If so, is this a trend we can get started in the states?
Doll Cosplay, apparently this is a thing that’s popular in Japan. Oh, and yes, that is most likely a dude in that costume. Guys dress up in body suits and masks to make them look like humanoid female dolls/anime characters. Plus there is a sexual component to it, so they kind of resemble furries but are somehow even more creepy.
Japanese Monkey costume with large testicles, I have no idea why this exists or why anyone would ever buy this but the guy modeling this costume seems to be taking the photoshoot way to seriously and that is awesome.
